Peugeot’s e-2008 compact SUV is the brand’s second fully electric vehicle, launched as part of the company’s plan to offer an electrified version of each of its vehicles by 2023. It’s all part of the company’s ‘Unboring the Future’ strategy, which includes giving customers the choice of switching to a fully electric engine without sacrificing size, technology, appearance, or driving feel. With a similar design to the e208, bold lines & a sporty silhouette emphasise a striking futuristic look. Coupled with smart tech & the innovative Peugeot i-Cockpit 3D, the Peugeot e2008 offers an exceptionally smooth driving experience without the price tag of some of the more luxurious car manufacturers.
In contention with other popular smaller SUVs such as the Mercedes EQA, the Mazda MX30 & Hyundai Kona, the interior of the e2008 has been purpose-built to enrich each & every experience at the wheel. A compact steering wheel, a 10″ HD touchscreen infotainment system, plus a configurable 3D digital instrument panel take the main focus with all information needed for the driver in a clear field of vision.
The Peugeot e2008 features a 100kW electric engine that provides 136 hp and 260 Nm of instant torque & acceleration. The high capacity high voltage 50kWh battery provides up to 214 miles of range but has also been purposely installed to save space in the passenger compartment and boot. There is also an excellent charging time of 0-80% range in just 30 minutes, at 100kW rapid public charging stations.
